The Information Technology, Bachelor of Applied Science - Web Development program is designed for individuals who possess an Associate degree to further their education and become successful Information Technology Professionals and Leaders. The program curriculum is learner-centered and practical, emphasizing the comprehension and application of Computer Information Technology. Admission to the program requires a minimum AA, AS or AAS degree with a 2.0 GPA. Those with 60 credit hours can be admitted if they have satisfied the AS General Education requirements and meet other criteria. Upon admission, students are obligated to complete 18 program competency credits in their initial semesters.


Objective:

  • To enable students to design interactive and visually appealing websites.
  • To develop students' understanding of web development tools and technologies to build dynamic and efficient websites.
  • To equip students with project management skills to lead and manage web development projects effectively.
  • To provide students with a solid foundation in programming languages and concepts, database management, client-side and server-side scripting, and e-commerce technologies.
