Through our Resort Management diploma program, you will be prepared to tackle any guest services and managerial challenges faced in the resort, club, food and beverage and hotel operations fields. Our graduates are employed in positions such as resort front desk supervisor, banquet supervisor, food and beverage supervisor, event administrative assistant, and human resource assistant.
Objectives:
- Provide students with the managerial, technical, and operational expertise that is essential to pursuing a career in the resort or club segment of the hospitality industry.
- Emphasize the basic tenants of guest service, leadership, communication, teamwork and problem solving.
- Offer opportunities for certificates from AHLEI, STR, Cvent, Social Table and Open Table.
- Include in course offerings an entourage of hospitality industry specific simulations, training in hospitality accounting and finance competencies, and how to operate and manage Excel.

Program Structure:
The Resort Management diploma program is a four-semester program. The first semester covers the basics of the hospitality industry, including guest service, leadership, and communication. The second semester focuses on food and beverage management and hospitality law. The third semester covers human resources management, hospitality sales and marketing, and rooms division management. The fourth semester covers strategic leadership in hospitality, hospitality financial reporting, and resort management.

Students will learn about the different types of hospitality businesses, the career opportunities available in the industry, and the skills and knowledge necessary for success.
- HOSP105 Enhancing Guest Service: This course focuses on the importance of guest service in the hospitality industry. Students will learn how to provide excellent service to guests, how to handle difficult guests, and how to create a positive guest experience.
- HOSP111 Food and Beverage Management: This course covers the principles of food and beverage management, including menu planning, food and beverage costing, and beverage service.
