Program Outline

Outline:

The Ohio Dominican University's Graduate Certificate in Theology offers graduate-level instruction in Catholic Theology's fundamentals in just five courses.

Teaching:

Courses are taught by faculty with doctorates in Catholic Theology who have received the Mandatum. Classes can be taken 100% online, on campus during the evening, or through a combination of formats. The online platform allows synchronous participation with classmates and instructors. On-campus classes meet once per week, every two weeks during fall and spring terms, or one evening per week for eight consecutive weeks during the summer. Class sizes are small, with an average of four to eight students, allowing for personalized attention and discussion. Students can opt to complete one or two courses per semester. Certificate courses can be applied to ODU's Theology master's degree program.
