Overview:

The Electrical apprenticeship program trains individuals to become skilled electricians, leading to Red Seal certification upon successful program and work-based training hours completion. CNC offers all four levels of technical training for both Construction and Industrial Electrician:

  • Level 1 (10 weeks) - Common Core
  • Level 2 (10 weeks) - Common Core
  • Level 3 (10 weeks) - Common Core
  • Level 4 (10 weeks) - Construction Electrician + Red Seal Exam
  • Level 4 (10 weeks) - Industrial Electrician + Red Seal Exam

Objectives:

  • Train individuals to become skilled electricians
  • Prepare individuals for Red Seal certification
  • Provide a combination of classroom-based learning and on-the-job training

Program Description:

  • Technical training must be completed in sequence.
  • It is recommended to complete a full year of work-based training hours between levels to best prepare for the next level of technical training.
