The Certificate of Advanced Study in Postconflict Reconstruction (CAS in PCR) is a 12-credit, multidisciplinary program designed for law and graduate students preparing for careers in postconflict reconstruction, peace studies, rule of law initiatives, humanitarian relief, international law, and international development. The program provides students with the analytical techniques, knowledge, and skills necessary to work effectively in post-conflict environments.


Objectives:

  • To provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the various dimensions of postconflict work, including the actors involved, the challenges faced, and the lessons learned from past experiences.
  • To equip students with the tools and skills necessary to analyze and address post-conflict issues, including conflict resolution, peacebuilding, and economic development.
  • To prepare students for careers in postconflict reconstruction and related fields.
