Bachelor of Science in Health Science - Public Health / Pre-Physical Therapy (SRU) (3+3)

This accelerated 3+3 program in Health Science - Public Health allows students to earn a Doctor of Physical Therapy in six years. Students complete their undergraduate coursework in the first three years and apply for admission to the SRU DPT program in their third year. If accepted, their first year in the DPT program fulfills the remaining requirements for their undergraduate degree.

This is a 3+3 program in Health Science - Public Health. Students may earn a Doctor of Physical Therapy in six years rather than seven. In the first three years, students complete their major courses and prerequisites for the SRU DPT program. During their third undergraduate year, students apply for admission into the SRU DPT program. If accepted, their first year in the SRU DPT program meets the remaining requirements for their undergraduate degree. If not accepted, they continue to complete their undergraduate degree and can reapply to the program. The accelerated option is for incoming freshmen only.
