Program Overview


Sprott's Master of Accounting (MAcc) is an intensive program designed to prepare students for a professional accounting career. It provides direct access to the CPA Canada Common Final Examination (CFE) and exempts students from the CPA Canada Professional Education Program (PEP). The program focuses on developing advanced accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and professional competencies through a combination of CPA PEP direct access courses and master's degree courses. Graduates have a high employment rate and can pursue careers in various sectors as professional accountants, auditors, financial analysts, or management consultants.

Full-Time Program Structure:

  • Two consecutive summers of full-time study on campus in Ottawa.
  • Internship.
  • Two online courses in the Fall term following the first summer of study.

Part-Time Program Structure:

  • Evening classes over 24 months.
  • All courses delivered on campus in Ottawa.
