Program Overview

This program provides a foundation in web development, content management, and digital art. Core courses cover HTML/CSS/JavaScript, WordPress, and design principles. Electives allow students to specialize in areas such as page layout, typography, or dynamic programming languages. Core Course Requirements (12 credits)

• CPM 160 Frontend Web Development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript): Introduces the fundamentals of web development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• CPM 260 Content Management Systems (WordPress): Provides an overview of content management systems, with a focus on WordPress.
• ART 1200 2-D Design: Explores the principles of two-dimensional design, including composition, color theory, and typography.
• ART 1105 Digital Art Studio: Introduces the concepts and techniques of digital art, using industry-standard software.

Electives (9 credits)

Students must choose three electives from the following list:

• ART 2110 Page Layout: Examines the principles of page layout and design for print and digital media.
