- Gain theoretical and practical knowledge of endoscopic techniques and the use of endoscopic and histological scores
- Stay updated on indications for advanced biological therapies and small molecules
Program Description:
The Master focuses on the application of advanced therapies (biological and small molecules) in clinical practice. It also emphasizes patient management based on the standard of care proposed by the most recent guidelines of the European Crohn's and Colitis Organization (ECCO) and on new therapeutic targets (treat-to-target strategy and tight control). Participants will also delve into the application of clinical and endoscopic scores used in inflammatory bowel disease and the most recent advanced endoscopic techniques for colorectal cancer surveillance and disease activity evaluation (virtual and vital chromoendoscopy). Moreover, the Master covers the management of severe patients during hospitalization, with a focus on rescue therapy and surgical indications.
