Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements:

  • Successful completion of the Diploma of Visual Arts (CUA51120) or equivalent.
  • Applicants without formal qualifications but with relevant art experience are welcome to apply.
  • Skills and knowledge may have been acquired through experience in a creative field or formal study.
  • Applicants must have the conceptual, technical, and organizational skills to create and present work in their chosen creative form.
  • Successful completion of Australian Year 12, or equivalent overseas qualification.

Language Proficiency Requirements:

  • Satisfactory completion of one of the following:
  • IELTS overall band of 6.0 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0
  • Swinburne's English for Academic Purposes (EAP 5 Advanced level) with an overall 65%, all skills 65%
  • or equivalent measures available at English language requirements.
