As a candidate for the Doctor of Philosophy in Business, you'll undertake supervised research with the aim of making a significant and original contribution to a discipline or profession. The research you'll undertake may be pure, exploratory, applied, experimental and/or creative.

Program Description:
The Doctor of Philosophy in Business is a three-year full-time or equivalent part-time program. The program consists of coursework and a research thesis. The coursework component of the program provides students with a strong foundation in research methods and theory.

Outline:
To qualify for the award of Doctor of Philosophy, candidates are required to complete the following: PhD thesis (70,000 to 100,000 word thesis or equivalent) Candidates receive guidance and support from their research supervisors and have the opportunity to participate in a number of research training sessions on topics such as thesis writing, publishing and presenting. Progress reviews. Progress reviews used to monitor academic progress and provide feedback to candidates at different stages of their candidature. Progress review due dates will vary based on your degree and enrolment status.
