MathsLink: Further is a bridging program for students who need VCE Units 3 and 4 of Further Mathematics to study at Swinburne University. It covers data analysis, business-related mathematics, graphs and relations, and geometry and trigonometry. Students are expected to spend 12-16 hours per week studying to fully comprehend each module. This program is a prerequisite for various bachelor degrees in science, aviation, information and communication technology. The aim of this program is to provide students who have not completed VCE Units 3 & 4 Further Mathematics with a bridging program to gain the knowledge and mathematical skills necessary to successfully engage with first year level study in the areas of aviation, information and communication technology, science, education and health science within the higher education environment.
