Program Description:
The MAcc program is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the accounting profession. The program covers a wide range of topics, including financial accounting, auditing, taxation, and business law. Students also develop strong communication and critical thinking skills. The program is taught by experienced faculty who are committed to student success. The faculty are available to provide support and guidance throughout the program.
Outline:
The MAcc program consists of 30 credit hours of coursework. The coursework is divided into four modules:
- Module 1: Financial Accounting and Reporting
- Module 2: Auditing and Attestation
- Module 3: Business Environment and Concepts
- Module 4: Regulations Each module consists of three 8-week courses. The courses are designed to correlate to each of the four parts of the CPA exam - financial accounting and reporting, auditing and attestation, business environment and concepts, and regulations - and to address the leadership and communication skills firms seek.
