Program Overview
The Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) is a three-year part-time program designed for experienced professionals and executives seeking to enhance their management skills and research expertise. Degree Overview:
The Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) is the highest academic distinction in management. The DBA is a three-year part-time program particularly suited for qualified professionals and top corporate executives with significant experience wishing to enhance their skills and expertise with academic rigor for problem-solving. The DBA aims to develop critical thinking and research with high societal and managerial impacts. A DBA is designed for experienced managers who want to influence their organization and society by leveraging academic research to address genuine organizational issues.
Outline:
- Year 1: Courses in applied management research, research methods, and design.
- Year 2 and Year 3: Field study and thesis preparation.
Teaching:
- Courses and Seminars: DBA courses and seminars cover aspects of intercultural management, business strategy, entrepreneurship, marketing, project management, and CSR.
- Coaching/Guidance: Each student is assigned a research supervisor to advise, answer questions, and guide them throughout their research project and thesis writing.
- Workshops: The DBA program includes research workshops where students meet to share experiences, findings, and methodological tips.

Tuition fee: €21 000 for three years (on Paris campus). The student needs to pay €7 000 to validate the registration in each academic year. Upon request addressed to the Program Director – Ilaria Dalla Pozza (i.dalla-pozza@ipag.fr), the student can be allowed to pay annual tuition fee in two installments. For the first year, when registering, the student need to pay a deposit of €3 500. The remaining €3 500 will be paid when courses start. The students can request an extension of their study for up to two years maximum. The tuition fees of €3 000 for each extended year should be paid as soon as the extension request is validated.
