Program Overview


The MSc in Health Science at UNBC combines student-centered and community-oriented approaches to equip students with research skills and knowledge to address contemporary health challenges, particularly in northern, rural, remote, and Indigenous communities. The program offers a research-based Master's degree with a focus on biomedical, epidemiological, community health, and ecohealth approaches, preparing graduates for careers in health research and related fields.

The interdisciplinary program provides opportunities for those interested in health within a changing health system to explore and research and to benefit from the diverse health research strengths in the School of Health Sciences and across UNBC.
