The Master of Advanced Imaging (MRI) program enhances knowledge and skills in clinical MRI for medical practitioners, radiation practitioners, and other health professionals. The Master of Advanced Imaging (MRI) program is designed for individuals who seek to enhance their knowledge and skills in clinical MRI. It is structured to accommodate eligible Graduate Medical Practitioners, Medical Radiation Practitioners (MRP), Allied Health and other Health Professionals, including Dentists and Veterinary practitioners. The program aims to:

  • Provide in-depth knowledge and understanding of MRI, including basic physics and advanced clinical imaging techniques.
  • Equip students with the skills to conduct independent research projects in MRI, addressing theoretical and/or practical issues.
  • Foster collaboration and knowledge exchange through face-to-face or video-conferencing intensive workshops involving specialists from various medical disciplines.

Graduates of the Master of Advanced Imaging (MRI) program can pursue diverse career opportunities in various sectors and industries, including:

The tuition fees quoted above are the fees for the normal full-time study load of the program (80 credit points) per annum. International students will be subject to a variable fee regime; i.e. enrolled students will be required to pay fees during their program based on the approved fee for each calendar year. Fee changes (if any) will occur at 1 January each calendar year. Students who extend their program past the normal finish date of the program will be required to pay additional fees based on the prevailing fee level.
