Business Administration MBA, Marketing Emphasis
Program Overview
The Business Administration MBA program with a Marketing Emphasis at UMSL requires 30 credit hours, including a foundational core curriculum and an emphasis area in Marketing. The Business Administration MBA program with a Marketing Emphasis requires a minimum of 30 credit hours, depending on the student's previous background. Coursework must be completed within a maximum six-year period. At least 2/3 of coursework must be taken while enrolled as an MBA candidate at UMSL.

Emphasis Area Requirements (9 credit hours):
Students can choose to specialize in Marketing by completing:
- MKTG 5701 (3 credit hours)
- Six additional hours of Marketing electives beyond MKTG 5700 (MKTG 5700 does not count toward the emphasis in Marketing)
Electives (9 credit hours):
Students with an emphasis area must choose 9 credit hours of elective courses from within the College of Business Administration. Students without an emphasis area have the flexibility to select electives from a wider range of graduate courses.

All MBA students are required to participate in the BUS AD 6991 Graduate Business Assessment Testing class during their last semester. This learning assessment course is not for credit.
