Marine Science Minor

Program Overview

This 20-credit Marine Science minor requires prerequisites in marine science, earth and marine geology, and their respective labs. Students must complete 12 credits of 300-level or higher MSCI courses, including 8 credits from core courses in physical oceanography, marine biology, marine geology, and marine chemistry. The minor provides a foundation in marine science for students pursuing careers in related fields.

• MSCI 112L - Introduction to Earth and Marine Geology Laboratory (1 credit)

Marine Science courses (12 credits)

Choose 12 credits of MSCI courses at the 300 level or above of which 8 credits must be taken from the following courses:
