The Accelerate U Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Pathway is a mostly online certificate program that prepares individuals to work with children with developmental behavior challenges. Under the supervision of a Behavior Analyst, RBTs work one-on-one with children in home, school, and clinical settings to help build social, communication, and problem-solving skills. The 6-month program consists of 6 weeks of online training to teach job-specific skills, a 12-week paid practicum at one of the employer partners to gain on-the-ground experience, and a 6-week undergraduate course to refine skills. Each cohort has a dedicated career coach who supports students throughout the program. After completing the program, graduates receive primary consideration for open positions with employer partners.
