The Diploma of Travel and Tourism Management is a comprehensive program that combines core units in customer service, finance, and management with electives in travel and tourism or holiday parks and resorts. Delivered through a flexible e-learning model with industry-leading software and partnerships, this program prepares graduates for careers in various roles within the travel and tourism industry.

The Diploma of Travel and Tourism Management course structure comprises thirteen (13) core units, and ten (10) elective units. The elective units have been selected to meet the requirements of industry needs, graduate pathways, or student and teacher input.

Group A - Travel and Tourism
- Research and analyse tourism data
- Provide advice on international destinations

Group B - Holiday Parks and Resorts
- Develop and implement marketing strategies Other elective units can be chosen from the SIT Tourism, Travel and Hospitality Training Package or any current training package or accredited course subject to approval.
Teaching:
This course is delivered through Victoria University's award-winning interactive e-learning model that combines face-to-face workshops with flexible, user-friendly e-learning activities. Students will have access to industry-leading software, including Sabre, Galileo and Travelport, to complete practical assessments in a simulated tourism office environment. Additionally, the university has established partnerships with organizations such as Delaware North Sebastian Restaurant and Bar, Lucas Restaurants, Melbourne Convention Exhibition Centre, Contiki and Riverland Group, providing students networking opportunities.

Entry Requirements:
There are no formal entry requirements for this course. As part of the application process, applicants must complete a Pre-training Review (PTR) and undertake a literacy and numeracy (LN) assessment to determine suitability. Some courses receive more applications than the number of places available. In this situation we will also assess your education, work and other relevant experience.
