Program Overview
The Associate of Science in Turfgrass Management program equips students with the knowledge and skills to design, construct, and maintain landscapes and turfgrass areas. It prepares them for careers in golf course management, landscape management, pest control, and sales of horticultural supplies. The program also includes a State Certificate for Pesticide Application.

Degree Overview:
The Associate of Science in Turfgrass Management provides instruction in the designing, construction, and maintenance of landscapes, management of large turf areas, with an emphasis on the management of golf course turf.
Objectives:
To provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to design, construct, and maintain landscapes and turfgrass areas. To prepare students for careers in turfgrass management, including golf course management, landscape management and construction, pest control, and sales of fertilizer and horticultural supplies. To prepare students for the State Certificate for Pesticide Application.
