  • Charles Sturt focus: Address matters of particular relevance to learning and teaching at Charles Sturt University, including understanding and supporting the diverse student profile, online and flexible learning, and professional and practice-based education.
  • Teaching recognition: Structured around the Higher Education Academy (HEA) UK Professional Standards Framework and The Charles Sturt Academic evidence, a guide for promotion in the learning domain.
  • Successful completion of EEL516 for academic probation will lead to Associate Fellow of the HEA and a personal professional learning plan for promotion preparation. Completion of the whole Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education fulfills the requirements for HEA Fellowship.
  • Study flexibility: Fully online with self-paced independent study and cohort-based participation.
  • Experience learning in the Charles Sturt online environment as a student, use various online resources and educational technologies, and observe current educational practices and technologies demonstrated by experienced practitioners.
