Program Overview

This two-year program provides a foundation in psychology, covering topics such as research methods, statistics, biopsychology, cognitive psychology, and social psychology. Students will also complete electives in humanities, arts, and science, preparing them for careers in education, healthcare, mental health support, policing, corrections, and social services.

• PSYC 100: Introduction to Psychology I: 3.00 credits
• PSYC 101: Introduction to Psychology II: 3.00 credits
• Humanities Electives (PHIL 101, 110 or 120 recommended): 6.00 credits
• Humanities or Social Science Electives 100-Level: 6.00 credits
• Arts Courses 200-Level or higher - 2 subject areas: 18.00 credits
• - If PSYC 213 is used to fulfill the Mathematics or Statistics or Computer Science requirement, an additional 3 credits from another 200-level Psychology course is required.
