Musical Theatre Diploma

Program Overview

The Musical Theatre diploma program is a three-year program that provides students with over 35 hours of weekly studio time and performance opportunities. Students refine their skills in acting, singing, dancing, and the business side of the profession. They are mentored by working professionals and have the opportunity to study with them. Graduates are prepared for careers in the performing arts, including acting, singing, dancing, and more.

• The Musical Theatre program is a three-year diploma program.
• This program consists of over 35 hours of weekly studio time with opportunities to perform through most of the six terms.
• Students will refine their rehearsal and performance skills in acting, singing, dancing, screen acting, audition techniques, voice-over and learn the business side of the profession.
• Students have the opportunity to study with working professionals.
• Students have six courses of private musical theatre instruction to build up their song performance, vocal technique, vocal health and hygiene while exploring a challenging and varied repertoire.

Teaching:

• Students are mentored by faculty as they develop their vocal, physical, and artistic abilities to become well-rounded performers.
• Students have the opportunity to study with working professionals.
