The Master of Science in Teaching Literacy, Birth - Grade 12 program prepares candidates for dual certification as Literacy teachers in both Birth - Grade 6 and Grades 5 - 12. The program equips graduates with the skills and knowledge to assume roles as reading teachers, literacy coaches, and remedial reading/writing specialists. Graduates also remain Elementary and Secondary classroom teachers with strong competence in classroom literacy instruction and assessment.
