- Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings using various tools and techniques.
- Cut openings in structures for pipes and pipe fittings.
- Fill pipes and plumbing fixtures with water or air to detect leaks.
- Install pipe assemblies, fittings, appliances, and fixtures using hand and power tools.
- Install underground storm, sanitary, and water piping systems.
- Repair and maintain plumbing, including replacing washers, mending broken pipes, and clearing clogged drains.
- Interpret building plans and assess material and equipment needs.
- Maintain knowledge of plumbing codes, math, and theory.
- Understand detailed written and verbal communication.
