Program Overview
This program provides apprentices in the machine trades with the skills and knowledge necessary for success in the field. Through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on training, students learn about mechanical hardware, precision measurement, engineering drawings, safety, and various machine tools. Upon completion, graduates are prepared for careers in blueprint reading, bench work, engine lathe operation, milling machine operation, grinding, metallurgy, and more.
