Program Overview


The Machine Tooling Technics Technical Diploma program at Madison College equips students with the skills and knowledge for careers in CNC operation and programming, tool and die making, and other high-tech fields. Through hands-on experience with state-of-the-art equipment, students learn CAD, CAM, and machining techniques to design, build, and inspect machined parts. Graduates are prepared for entry-level positions as CNC machinists, programmers, and tool and die apprentices, with potential for advancement to journey-level roles and management positions.

Degree Overview:

The Machine Tooling Technics Technical Diploma program at Madison College provides students with the skills and knowledge necessary to pursue careers in Computer Numerical Control (CNC) operation and CNC programming. The program also covers tool and die making, quality control, precision and repair machining, and other high technical fields. Students will learn Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM), and will gain hands-on experience using state-of-the-art machining centers, turning centers, and Electrical Discharge Machines (EDM). The program prepares students to design, build, and inspect machined parts, injection mold, and stamping die.
