Program Overview


The General Motors Automotive Service Educational Program (GM ASEP) is a day release apprenticeship program that prepares students for a career as an Automotive Service Technician with GM dealerships. The program includes courses in work practices, engine systems, electrical/electronics and emission systems, drive train systems, and suspensions. Graduates are prepared for positions in the transportation industry, including service manager, service consultant, and customer service representative.

Teaching:

  • GM ASEP classroom instructors are trained by General Motors in the latest automotive technologies.
