  • Study fundamental algebra, pre-calculus, calculus, statistics, discrete mathematics, mathematics for elementary school teachers, mathematics for liberal arts, along with electives from other subject areas.
  • Enhance your employability through the optional Co-operative Education Program, alternating academic semesters with paid work experience.
  • Potential to transfer credits to a university for pursuing a bachelor's degree, typically entering the third year of a four-year program.

General Requirements:

  • 6 credits (2 courses) of first-year English
  • 6 credits (2 courses) of Math, including 3 credits in Calculus
  • 18 credits (6 courses) of first-year Science electives, including at least 3 credits in a laboratory science
  • 18 credits (6 courses) of second-year Science electives in two or more subject areas
  • 6 credits (2 courses) of Arts electives (other than English)
  • 6 credits (2 courses) of other University Transfer electives

Specialization Requirements:

  • Complete 18 credits (or more) in Mathematics, of which 9 must be second-year courses (transferable to research universities at the second-year level).
