Extended Diploma in Art & Design

Program Overview

This two-year program, accredited by the University of the Arts London, prepares students for progression into any art and design-related degree. With a focus on practical skills and theoretical knowledge, the program offers specialist staff, access to studios seven days a week, and educational trips to enhance learning. Students have achieved a high percentage of Merit and Distinction grades, demonstrating the program's effectiveness in preparing them for further studies in creative fields.

• Preparation for year 2 options: Animation and Film, Architecture and Interior, Fine Art and Photography, Fashion Communication, Fashion Design, Games Art, Graphics Design and Illustration, 3D Design

Assessment:

• Visual and written assignments and projects following the specification set by UAL, the awarding body.
• Local and national educational trips to museums and galleries.

Teaching:

• Specialist staff in your chosen subject are timetabled 3 days a week, with staff across the department available Mondays to Fridays.
• Students have access to our studios 7 days a week, from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday to Friday, and from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm during the weekend.
