Degree Overview:
- This Environmental Technology program is designed for graduates with a college degree or university degree to enter directly into the second year of a three-year program.
- This program gives theoretical and hands-on skills through three disciplines, which include biology, chemistry and civil engineering, in order to understand and manage complex environmental issues.
- This program provides students with practical skills through the application of technology and equipment for testing water quality, soil quality analysis, management of hazardous materials, mapping geographic information systems (GIS) and using AutoCAD, surveying and sampling ecological fields.
Careers:
- Graduates with a successfully completed entry-level course will fulfill the requirements for an entry-level drinking water operators course from the Ministry of Environment.
- Graduates can explore a wide range of career opportunities with the skills and knowledge gained from this program, including: working as drinking water operators and other roles that involve understanding the environment.
