The Electronics Engineering Technician program at Centennial College prepares students for a career in electronics engineering. The program features a balance of practical and theoretical learning, covering areas such as wireless and data communications, microcontrollers, and industrial systems. Students work in labs with modern equipment, gaining hands-on experience in electronics testing, measurement, and troubleshooting.

Program Description:

  • Option to Transfer to Technologist Program: Students may choose to transfer into the fifth semester of the Electronics Engineering Technologist program with a minimum 2.0 GPA.
  • Direct Admission for Qualified Applicants: Graduates of college or university programs with a background in electronics may be eligible for direct admission into semester three of the program.
  • Samsung Pathway Option: Students with a GPA of 3.5 or above may enroll in the Samsung Pathway, which includes preparatory courses for the TSSA GAS Technician 3 certification exam.
  • Duration: Two years (four semesters).
  • Delivery Mode: Hybrid (in-person and online).
