- Course Structure: To complete the Graduate Diploma of Applied Sport Science, students must complete eight core units: 1. Academic Integrity Module (0 credit points) 2. Exercise and Sport Laboratory Safety (0 credit points) 3. Athlete Development and Performance Management 4. Management and Leadership in High Performance Sport 5. Evidence Based Practice for Sport Science 6. Program Evaluation for Sport Science 7. Strength and Conditioning for High Performing Athletes 8. Advanced Training Design for Sport 9. Notational Analysis of Sport Performance 10. Time and Motion Analysis of Sport Performance
- Participation Requirements: HSE721 (Evidence-Based Practice for Sport Science), HSE724 (Advanced Training Design for Sport), HSE725 (Notational Analysis of Sport Performance), and HSE726 (Time and Motion Analysis of Sport Performance) have campus intensives. Domestic students must attend the first three intensives on campus at Deakin University, Australia. The HSE726 intensive can be completed either online or on campus. International students must attend the fourth and fifth intensives on campus at Deakin University, Australia, or at Universiti Sains Malaysia. The first and sixth intensives can be completed either on-campus at Deakin University, Australia, or online (video conferencing).
