Bachelor of Science in Nutrition
Program Overview
The Nutrition program at this institution is a four-year, ACEND-accredited program that prepares students to become registered dietitians. Students must be admitted to the Didactic Program in Dietetics before enrolling in upper-division dietetics courses. The program offers three advising tracks: Didactic Program in Dietetics, Nutrition Science, and Nutrition and Wellness. Graduates of the program are qualified for careers as dietitians, dietetic technicians, and food scientists.

(BS) 73-92 Hour Major - Minor required where noted The four-year ACEND-accredited program is a major component in the process to obtain the educational background and experiences required to become a registered dietitian. After graduation, a supervised practice and successful completion of a national credentialing exam are required. You’ll complete a minimum of 120 credit hours to complete this degree, including the general education requirements and at least 39 senior division hours.
