This vocal performance degree program prepares students for a career in music performance, creating new music in classical, electronic, or avant-garde traditions. Students will have the opportunity to work in applied music study, music theory and analysis, music history, and gain experience through performance ensembles.
Teaching:
Students will interact with nationally recognized performing artists and educators, attend classes on Southeast's River Campus, a campus solely dedicated to the arts, and gain performance experience through ensembles.
Careers:
Graduates of the program may pursue careers as composers, sound technicians, or music directors. Recent graduates have obtained positions in orchestras, teaching positions, and internships with renowned organizations.
