Bachelor of Science in Applied Technology
Program Overview
The Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Technology degree builds upon an Associate of Applied Science degree, allowing students to specialize in areas such as construction, electrical systems, or computer graphics. The program includes core courses in math, physical sciences, technology, and management, as well as electives and a choice of tracks. Graduates are prepared for technical management roles in various industries, including manufacturing, engineering, and healthcare.
Program Outline
Degree Overview:
The Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Technology degree is designed for students who have earned a technically-oriented Associate of Applied Science degree from an accredited institution. The program allows students to build on that curriculum to earn a four-year Bachelor of Applied Science. Faculty advisors work with students to identify areas of specialization in their chosen discipline and even help connect them to employers in the region. Students will gain a fundamental understanding of the concepts for their field, including math, physical sciences, technology, and management. They will also gain specialized knowledge in elective areas including construction, electrical systems, mechanical systems, manufacturing, networking, facilities, or computer graphics.
