This certificate program is comprised of three (3) courses:
- MEDIA 110 Introduction to Multimedia Graphic (5 credits): This course provides an introduction to the principles and practices of multimedia graphic design, including an overview of industry-standard software and techniques. Students will learn about visual communication, typography, color theory, and image editing.
- MEDIA 201 Digital Image Editing I (5 credits): This course provides a foundation in digital image editing using Adobe Photoshop. Students will learn how to scan, optimize, enhance, colorize, and combine photographs for use in various applications.
- MEDIA 202 Advanced Image Editing (5 credits): This course builds upon the skills learned in MEDIA 201, focusing on advanced techniques for manipulating and enhancing images. Students will learn how to create special effects, automate tasks, and create multimedia presentations and web portfolios.
