Program Overview
The Media and Communication program equips students with practical skills and knowledge for careers in media, marketing, and related fields. Through hands-on experience, work placements, and guest speaker workshops, students explore various aspects of media and communication, including journalism, public relations, and digital marketing. The program also offers an optional semester abroad and the opportunity to study some modules in Welsh. Graduates are well-prepared for careers in journalism, media production, public relations, marketing, and more.

Objectives:
To provide students with the practical skills and knowledge necessary for a successful career in the media, marketing, or related fields, as well as transferable skills that are valued by employers and open up a range of wider career opportunities.
Program Description:
- Explore radio and video production, digital and social media, journalism, public relations, branding, marketing and more, learning from experienced industry professionals and leading academics.
- Gain first-hand experience of media and communication through a work placement.
- Optional semester abroad in Hong Kong, Singapore or the USA.
- Attend workshops and seminars run by guest speakers as part of the course.
- Receive support from a personal tutor.
- Study some modules through the medium of Welsh.
