The Media and Communication program provides practical skills for careers in media, marketing, and related fields. Students explore various aspects of media, including production, journalism, public relations, and branding. A work placement and optional study abroad opportunities enhance practical experience. Degree Overview:

Study Media and Communication with us and you will learn practical skills to equip you for an exciting career in the media, marketing or related fields, as well as transferable skills which are valued by employers and open up a range of wider career opportunities. The foundation year gives you an exciting introduction to higher education, exploring the humanities and social sciences before progressing to the full degree programme. It’s ideal if you need a little more support after further education or if you are returning to education after a gap. You will have the chance to explore radio and video production, digital and social media, journalism, public relations, branding, marketing and more, learning from experienced industry professionals and leading academics. A work placement will give you first-hand experience of media and communication, and you will have the option of studying a semester abroad in Hong Kong, Singapore or the USA.

UK International September 2023 £ 9,000 £ 16,650 September 2024 £ 9,000 £ 17,500 Fees for full time Undergraduate UK students may be increased in subsequent years of study by an inflationary amount determined by Welsh Government. Fees for full time Undergraduate EU/International students will increase by 3% for each subsequent year of study.
