Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements:

Applicants will need to achieve 128-136 UCAS points by attaining one of the following qualification sets or Swansea University approved equivalent. A-levels/Welsh Baccalaureate: AAB-ABB. Biology or Chemistry essential plus one other STEM subject . BTEC: Typically D D D. A strong Biology or Chemistry profile is essential plus a good profile in one other STEM subject . Access: Applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Irish Leaving Certificate: Applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Scottish Highers: Applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis. IB: Overall score of 34. Higher Level Biology or Chemistry essential plus one other STEM subject both at Grade 6 or above. T Levels: We welcome applicants with T levels. Applicants will be assessed on a case by case basis. As well as one of the above qualification sets, all applicants are required attain: GCSE: English and Maths minimum Grade C/4 . For applicants whose first language is not English, all applicants are required to attain: IELTS: 6.0 (or equivalent) and no less than 5.5 in each component.
