Students can earn the certificate by selecting courses that fulfill both their degree program and Sustainability certificate requirements. This allows most students to add the Sustainability certificate without extending their time or expenses. Additionally, PhD students can use the certificate to meet their doctoral breadth requirement, but in these cases, courses may not be double-counted for major requirements.
