  • The Certificate III in Individual Support is a 27-week qualification that prepares individuals to provide person-centered support to people with various needs, including ageing, disability, and other circumstances.
  • Graduates of this program will have the skills and knowledge necessary to work as accommodation support workers, nursing assistants, and care assistants in diverse settings, including community care, home support, and residential care facilities.
  • The program is structured to provide students with a combination of theoretical and practical learning experiences.
  • Students will attend theory lessons at Imagine Education's modern Ashmore or Brisbane Campuses, where they will have access to advanced interactive whiteboard technology.

Course Schedule:

  • Ashmore Campus:
  • Tutorial Day:
  • Determined by the trainer, typically Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday from 8:30am - 4:30pm.
  • Research Day: Determined by the trainer, typically Tuesday or Thursday from 8:30am - 4:30pm.
  • Distance Education: 5 hours per week.
  • Vocational Placement: 3 weeks, to be confirmed by the trainer, from 6am - 2:30pm.
  • Brisbane Campus:
  • Tutorial Day:
  • Determined by the trainer, typically Wednesday or Thursday from 8:30am - 4:30pm.
  • Research Day: Determined by the trainer, typically Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday from 8:30am - 4:30pm.
  • Distance Education: 5 hours per week.
  • Vocational Placement: 3 weeks, to be confirmed by the trainer, from 6am - 2:30pm.
