This one-day NPTC-accredited program provides training and assessment in the safe use and maintenance of tractor-mounted hedge and verge cutters. Participants will learn about site safety, machinery operation, hedge trimming, verge cutting, and ditch or dyke cutting. The program includes classroom learning and hands-on experience, with an instructor-to-student ratio of 1:4. Entry Requirements:
To join this course you must be a competent tractor driver; you should be certain of your ability before attending. You are required to sign and return an Experienced Tractor Driving Operator Declaration. As we're governed by Health and Safety Executive (HSE) regulations, you will not be allowed to start the course without wearing steel toe-capped boots or shoes, gloves and suitable protective clothing which provides full cover for arms and legs.
