SCPs work in surgical teams across various specialties, including urology, trauma and orthopaedics, cardiothoracic, plastic and reconstructive surgery, neurosurgery, paediatrics, general, vascular, maxillofacial, otorhinolaryngology, and gynaecology.
Tuition Fees and Payment Information:
- Tuition fees for UK students (2023/24): £3,333 (part-time, per year)
- Tuition fees for UK students (2024/25): £3,333 (15 credits PEPS 1 £833 / 45 credits PEPS 2 £2500)
- ARU graduates may be eligible for an Alumni Scholarship and get a 20% fee discount.
- Fees are payable upfront, in full or in instalments, but there's no need to pay until you've accepted an offer to study with us.

Entry Requirements:
A degree from a UK university at a minimum of lower second class honours or an academic or professional qualification which is equivalent in breadth and depth to a UK honours degree. Applicants should be registered as healthcare professionals, employed as part of a surgical team within a hospital environment with at least 18 months post registration experience. Applicants whose first language is not English and whose professional qualification was not taught and assessed in English will be required to demonstrate the University standard of English language (IELTS) at Level 6.5 (including written English academic test) prior to commencement on a course.
