This course is designed for individuals who have experience in using a powered pole pruner and want to refresh their skills and knowledge. It covers various topics, including risk assessments, legislation, personal protective equipment, pre-use checks, routine checks, and maintenance, as well as site, machine, and materials preparation. The course also emphasizes hands-on practice to ensure that participants can apply their learning effectively.
Entry Requirements: You must be competent in the use of a powered pole pruner and bring your own machine. We are governed by Health and Safety Executive (HSE) regulations therefore candidates will not be allowed to start the course without the correct equipment. You may prefer for your comfort and safety to bring your own Personal Protective Equipment. We strongly recommend you also wear a high visibility vest.
