Program Overview
The MSc Mental Health program at ARU equips graduates with the skills and knowledge for careers in health and social care, including roles in schools, charities, and public/private healthcare. Graduates develop a deep understanding of mental health issues, critical thinking, and analytical skills, preparing them for middle or senior-ranking positions in the UK and internationally. The program also offers opportunities for further academic pursuits through a PhD program with an Alumni Scholarship.

Completing our MSc Mental Health will strengthen your employment opportunities in health and social care. You’ll graduate with the skills and knowledge needed for a career in a range of sectors, including for example schools, charities and industry, as well as public and private health and social care services. Your strong understanding of mental health issues will prepare you for middle or senior-ranking posts in the UK and internationally. You’ll also find that employers value your critical thinking and analytical skills. Roles may include mental health lead, advisor, ambassador and research assistant. Graduation doesn’t have to be the end of your time with us. You could choose to continue your academic career with a PhD programme at ARU. Payment:
- Fees can be paid upfront, in full or in installments.
- International students may be required to pay a deposit of £4,000 or provide a sponsorship letter.
