Program Overview

This Level 2 Technical Certificate in Floristry provides practical skills and knowledge for a career in the floristry industry. Through a combination of face-to-face and online learning, students develop their abilities in floral design, plant care, and business practices. Assessment includes practical assignments, exams, and a Health and Safety assignment. Upon completion, graduates can pursue entry-level roles as trainee or junior florists or continue their education with a Level 3 course or apprenticeship.

Assessment:

• You'll be assessed in a number of ways including practical assessments and exams.
You will sit:
• one externally set, externally moderated assignment
• one externally set, externally marked exam
• one externally set, internally marked Health and Safety assignment

Teaching:

• We offer face-to-face campus teaching (with the exception of distance learning courses), supported by our established online learning systems, which provide additional support for individual study and engagement.

Careers:

• By completing a Level 2 Technical Certificate in Floristry, you’ll gain the skills you need to start work in the floristry industry.
You might work as a trainee florist or junior florist initially.
• You also have the option to continue your studies with a Level 3 course in floristry or an apprenticeship.
