  • They also develop fundamental legal skills such as fact handling, case reading, and research. Assessments include traditional exams, essays, as well as mooting, online discussions, group work, and presentations.
  • Year 2: Students continue to focus on legal skills, developing confidence in conducting research and conveying ideas.
  • They tackle real-world problems by working with students from other disciplines through the Ruskin Module. They also study equity and trusts, and tort (civil wrongs and compensation for harm to people's rights, safety, and interests). Optional modules include family law, commercial law, medical law, and intellectual property. Assessments include traditional exams, essays, as well as mooting, online discussions, group work, and presentations.
  • Year 3: Students have the chance to put their research skills into practice with their Major Project, where they focus on an area of interest, conduct research, evaluate information, and present their findings.
  • They also study property law and EU law. The course also equips students with skills that can be used in related roles, including business and commerce, policy making, public services, or banking and finance. Entry Requirements:

  • 96 UCAS Tariff points from a minimum of 2 A Levels (or equivalent).
  • 3 GCSEs at grade C, or grade 4, or above, including English.
