- Students will specialize in games art at Masters level.
- Students will have access to cutting-edge research materials through the partnership with the Global Science & Technology Forum.
- Students will work in design production teams, tackling creative and technical challenges with programmers and industry professionals.
- Students will develop their design skills working on live briefs from companies such as Sony and Sumo Digital and learn how to create and publish successful games across a range of platforms.
- Students will attend games jams, industry talks, conferences, and festivals, like the annual gaming-inspired event Gamebridge.
Assessment:
- Students will show their progress through a combination of written and practical work, carried out individually and as part of a team.
Teaching:
- Industry-standard facilities are available to students, including high-end computers with graphic tablets, motion capture equipment, a render farm, and top of the range 3D modelling, animation, and compositing software.
- A Computer Games Technical Officer will be on hand to offer training and support.
- Students can also get training in the use of all the creative facilities.
Careers:
- Skilled game designers and programmers are in high demand, with the value of the UK games industry reaching £7.05 billion in 2022.

£9,300 UK students starting 2024/25 (full-time, per year) ARU graduates may be eligible for an Alumni Scholarship and get a 20% fee discount. Entry Requirements:
- A good honours degree (or equivalent), normally in a related subject. Applicants with professional experience are also encouraged to apply.
- If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.5 ( Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University.
